DDGtv.com Earns 3 International Awards for Creative Excellence

Monday August 15, 2016

When Team DDG began a website redesign, they looked for a partner who could help develop a site which would meet these criteria: visually stunning, easy to navigate, seamless to use, and filled with information worth consuming. It had to embrace their core beliefs …Creativity, Knowledge & Innovation!

The design team at Haneke Design, an interactive design and development firm, well know for the One World Explorer interactive iPad application for visitors to the new One World Trade Center in New York, listened to Devlin Design Group’s wants and needs and worked with them to develop a site which exceeded their extremely high expectations. Since launch, positive client comments have been overwhelming!

Most importantly Team DDG’s creative work is superbly showcased, and the television broadcast community has taken notice. The website has become the place where visitors can tap into the knowledge of a company who has defined the set design industry for 25+ years. The site also allows the team to share the innovative thinking which has helped DDG sweep broadcast design’s major awards, NewscastStudio’s ‘Set of the Year’ for 5 straight years, the PromaxBDA ‘Gold Award’ 3 years running, and four recent ‘Emmy’ awards!

Not only has the tv industry taken notice…DDGtv.com has garnered 3 prestigious website design awards! A Platinum ‘Hermes Creative Award’, from one of the largest competitions in the world which honors creative professionals in a variety of mediums. A look at the winners shows a range in size from individual communicators to media conglomerates and Fortune 500 companies. The design also caught the eye of the ‘Communicator Award’ judges. This international competition recognizes work that transcends innovation and craft – work that makes a lasting impact. The 2016 competition received over 6000 entries from ad agencies, interactive agencies, production firms, in-house creative professionals, graphic designers, design firms, and public relations firms. And, a coveted ‘Stevie’, the world’s premiere business award, recognized the web design. Stevie Awards competitions receive more than 10,000 entries each year from organizations in more than 60 nations. Both Team DDG and the team at Haneke Design are gratified to be acknowledged with these accolades.

“We loved this project from the moment we met with DDG,” said Jody Haneke, President of Haneke Design. “Our teams are full of people who deeply understand visual media and share a vision of how to convey DDG’s incredible work and the creative process to prospects. That alignment helped us to produce a web site that really does justice to their work and approach.”

“It is our goal to strive to exceed industry standards in quality and achievement in all areas of our work. We were impressed with the Haneke Design team’s same level of commitment. The results speak for themselves.” —Diane ‘DiFi’ Fiolek, Creative Services Director, Devlin Design Group.
